Answering Your Questions Regarding My Psychotherapy Services
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I no longer accept insurance. However, some insurance companies accept out-of-network billing.
DO YOU COLLABORATE WITH OTHER PROVIDERS?
I am happy to collaborate with any provider that is working toward the goal of improving your well-being. We would ask that a release of information be signed, and we will keep that on file in your record.
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Call or email me and leave a message with your contact information. I will be sure to get back to you within 48 hours.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
The first appointment is often considered an assessment, in that it mainly focuses on the present situation that brought you to counseling and assessing whether a therapeutic alliance can be established between patient and therapist. I will meet you one-on-one in the office or via a virtual Zoom session.
DO YOU OFFER TRAINING?
I offer in person and online trainings and clinical supervision.
DO YOU PRESCRIBE MEDICATION?
No. I do not prescribe medication but often refer my patients to one of several physicians that I have a working relationship with.
WHAT HOURS ARE YOU AVAILABLE?
My hours are flexible, typically Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 8 PM, by appointment.

IF I MISS A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, AM I CHARGED?
Please provide at least a 36-hour notification of cancellation. Otherwise, a $75.00 fee is charged and must be paid prior to the next scheduled appointment. A no-show will require a full fee.
